Arrival by car
Scena is situated on a hill about 4 km above Merano. The best way to get to Scena is via the MeBo motorway, which connects Merano with Bolzano. Take the Merano Sud/Sinigo exit and follow the signs to Scena. After about ten minutes you will reach Penatz.

Accessibility by public transport
With trains from all neighbouring countries, you can reach Merano several times a day with a change in Bolzano. The South Tyrol connection ticket on DB and ÖBB trains allows you to use South Tyrolean public transport at the special price of Euro 5 on the day of arrival/departure. From the train station in Merano, bus line 231 departs every half hour and takes you to the centre of Scena in about 20 minutes.
You can reach Scena by bus every Wednesday and Saturday directly from Munich and every Saturday with the South Tyrol Express from Switzerland.
The South Tyrolean airline SkyAlps offers direct flights from several European cities to Bolzano several times a week. Transfers from the airport in Bolzano directly to Scena can be booked through the tourist office at a special price of Euro 10 per person and route (min. 48h before departure).

Bus line 231 connects Schenna with Merano every half hour, and from Merano you can reach numerous destinations in the surrounding area and throughout South Tyrol by train or other buses. At the bus stop or in the tourist office Scena you can get value cards or various advantage cards for the public transport in South Tyrol.
